After every session we finish with a beer together (or alcohol-free/water). The social aspect is just as important as the running - here you'll meet new friends!
All running with MRC Malmö is free. No membership fees, no hidden costs. You only pay for your own beer after running if you want one.
We always have two groups: "Ghost vision style" (5:45/km) and "Malmö i love you" (6:30/km or adapted pace). Everyone finds their level!
First Saturday of every month we go to Copenhagen to run with the mother club. First beer is free in Copenhagen!
We meet at cozy places like Ramen to Bíiru in Möllevången and Mikkeller Moriskan in Folkets Park. Central and easy to find!
Our most important rule: "No one is left behind". Regardless of pace or distance, we make sure everyone finishes together and feels welcome.
MRC stands for Mikkeller Running Club - a global community of runners who love both running and beer. MRC Malmö is the local group here in Malmö, and this site is created by and for members in Malmö (not an official Mikkeller Running Club site).
We are a group that believes in "social running" - that running should be fun, inclusive and social. Since 2018 we have met regularly to run together and then socialize over a beer. There are no performance requirements or competitive atmosphere - just community and joy over running.
Our motto is simple: "No one is left behind". This means we always make sure everyone finishes together, regardless of pace or fitness level. We run together and we finish together - always.
Note: This site is not official for Mikkeller Running Club but created by members in Malmö to spread information about our local activities.

MRC Malmö is the local branch of Mikkeller Running Club - a global community that combines running joy with social fellowship. Here in Malmö we meet regularly to run together and then socialize over a well-deserved beer.
Social running is about making running a community activity rather than a solitary sport. In MRC Malmö we always run in groups, we wait for each other, and we always finish together. After every session we gather to socialize - the social aspect is just as important as the running itself.
We have two regular groups: "Ghost vision style" for those who want to maintain around 5:45 per kilometer, and "Malmö i love you" for those who prefer a calmer pace around 6:30 per kilometer or adapted to the group's needs. Both groups are welcoming and inclusive.
Regardless of weather we meet for running. Wednesdays we gather in Möllevången at Ramen to Bíiru, and Saturdays we meet in Folkets Park at Mikkeller Moriskan. These places are not only practical meeting points but also cozy places to socialize after running.
A unique part of MRC Malmö is our monthly trips to Copenhagen on the first Saturday of every month. There we run together with the mother club and get to experience the international MRC community. As a bonus, the first beer is always free in Copenhagen!
All running with MRC Malmö is completely free. There are no membership fees, no hidden costs. We believe that running should be accessible to everyone. The only thing you pay for is your own drink after running if you want to stay and socialize.
Our philosophy is simple: "No one is left behind". This means we always make sure everyone finishes together, regardless of pace or fitness level. We are here to support each other and have fun together.
